Donna Pierite and Elisabeth Mora have been teaching the Tunica language to members of the tribe on the reservation in Marksville, Louisiana. However, there are also a number of tribe members who do not live on the reservation. For these people and for non-tribal members interested in learning the language, Donna and Elisabeth have created recorded lessons to be posted on the internet.
